Branding

Cafe Nyleta's brand centers on quality, meticulousness, and cherishing life's little pleasures. Their brand guide prioritizes a clean design and showcases their clients' work.

Cafe Nyleta aimed for a professional appearance that remained true to its unique design sensibilities. Taking cues from typography-driven layouts, generous white space, and fashion editorial-style grids.

Client Vision

After interviewing the client, I identified three main objectives: attracting new design clients, documenting Cafe Nyleta's services on the website, and showcasing their previous work. I prioritized these objectives to create a website that highlights their strengths and informs potential clients.

"Our focus may have shifted, but our dedication to high-quality design and sourcing remains the same."

Learning & Takeaways

Figma components

Scaling and recreating product pages on a responsive website requires the proper setup of components and sets. This ensures easy adaptation and expansion without sacrificing performance or user experience.

Webpage vs. app design

As an experienced app designer, designing a webpage was a new challenge for me. Adjusting my design techniques and proportions for an effective and visually appealing website proved to be a valuable exercise.

Less is more

Meeting the client's request for a minimal and aesthetically pleasing design while maintaining a balance between text, imagery, and information proved challenging. Achieving a cohesive and impactful user experience required careful consideration of every element of the website.
